“Accommodating and a nice retreat in Hanoi”

After bungling my original booking and ending up at another hotel, I would recommend their decently priced airport pick-up service. Testament to their desire to please the customer was their solution to my misadventure. Accepting their offer to pick me up from another hotel, I arrived at Art Hotel and was pleased the clean, comfortable rooms. Particularly in comparison to my prior hotel it was excellent value, with attention to details in the presentation of hotel, and gestures such as the welcome drink, daily fruit. I stayed two nights, receiving an upgraded deluxe room for the first night for free and a premium single room for the second night.
The smaller room was actually preferable as it was located on the fifth floor and away from the noise of early breakfast patrons.Hanoi is busy and bustling, and staying in a hotel with such friendly staff makes your holiday much more relaxing. Whether it was making a hotel booking for the next city, getting advice on shopping prices or directions, the staff is knowledgeable and willing to help.

If this place fits your budget, stay here. It is hard to find any flaws. Nice rooms. Great service. Friendly staff. But they should serve their mango breakfast crepeswithout the horrible fake chocolate sludge that passes for "chocolate" sauce :-)

Spent 5 nights here and must compliment Chris and the girls on the reception desk for their friendliness and helpfulness during our stay.The hotel location is very well placed within the old quarter with decent eating places all around.Breakfast was from a set menu and was good quality. Room quality (rear facing room with small window) was ok although a little noisy from the lift operations

We booked our trip to Halong Bay (Dragon Pearl 3) and was very happy with the experience.
